The National Scholarship Program

The National Scholarship Program recognizes original and creative thinkers, community leaders and high academic achievers. It is U of T's most prestigious award for Canadian high school students entering the university.
|
- The National Scholarship Program covers tuition, incidental fees and residence fees for up to four years of study.
- Runners-up will receive Arbor Scholarships at a value of $7,500 in the first year and $1,500 per year for three additional years of undergraduate study.
- The scholarship is tenable only at the University of Toronto.

- Students must be:
- a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person;
- enrolled in their final year of Canadian secondary school or first-year CEGEP; and
- planning to start university in the upcoming academic year (or planning to take a gap year)
- Students must be nominated by your school for the U of T National Book Award.
- Students must demonstrate superior academic performance, original and creative thought, exceptional achievement in a broad context and have a strong involvement in the lives of their school and communities.

Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships
|
The Pearson International Scholarships is one of the largest scholarship programs for international students in Canada. It recognizes outstanding academic achievement, creativity and leadership potential.
|
- Pearson Scholarships cover tuition, books, incidental fees and full residence support for four years.
- The scholarship is tenable only at the University of Toronto for first-entry, undergraduate programs.
- Each year, approximately 37 students will be named Pearson Scholars.
|
- Students must be:
- an international student (i.e. a non-Canadian requiring a study permit);
- enrolled in their final senior secondary school in 2025/2026 or have graduated no earlier than June 2025; and
- beginning their studies at U of T in September 2026.
- Students must have received a nomination from their school. Schools can only nominate one student per year.
- Students must demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, creativity, and potential to contribute positively to the global community.

The Wolf Scholars Program is a new scholarship from the Wolf Cooper Foundation. The program is designed to develop Canada's next generation of thoughtful builders, innovators and leaders.
|
- Each year, 16 students will become Wolf Scholars and receive a full tuition scholarship and a living stipend for four years.
- Students must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
- Wolf Scholars will have access to unique opportunities such as internships at top organizations, travelling internationally and meeting distinguished leaders from business, government, tech, arts & culture and foundations.
- 90% overall average last year
